The number of online game players in the United States (US) has increased due to people in the country isolating themselves following the rise of the corona virus outbreak (COVID-19) in the land of Uncle Sam.

Telecommunications company Verizon, in the US recorded online game slot online access in the country jumped to 75 percent since quarantine was imposed last week.

Not only that, the number of people watching streaming video has also increased by 12 percent, with an increase in traffic of nearly 20 percent. But social media users did not experience a significant increase.

Chief technology officer for Verizon, Kyle Malady, said that the increase was due to many individuals working from home, as well as students learning online, so web traffic automatically and access to VPN increased.

"Many entertainment options have also been canceled in communities throughout the US, the increase in online gaming and video traffic is not too surprising," Kyle said, quoted from the THR page , Thursday, March 19, 2020.

Recently, Cowen Inc. analysts Doug Creutz and Stephen Glagola said in their report that the fundamentals in the video game sector were far better than the market average during the extraordinary actions of COVID-19 .

Susceptible to contracting Corona, President Duterte is forbidden to shake hands

Philippine President's Security Forces  (PSG) temporarily banned President Rodrigo Duterte  and others from touching each other to prevent transmission of the corona virus .

Susceptible to contracting Corona, President Duterte is forbidden to shake hands

As reported by AFP on Tuesday (10/3), the new policy was set on Monday. The reason is that 74-year-old Duterte is in a vulnerable age group if contracting the corona virus.

"PSG will implement a policy prohibiting touch between the president and the public," PSG Commander Jesus Durante said in a press statement.

"People who will meet and be close to him must be thoroughly examined," Jesus continued.

The Philippine government said cases of corona virus infection in the country had spread locally. To date there have been 20 people infected with the corona virus in the country, with one death and one patient recovering.

Duterte's health condition is also often a concern. He said he often experienced migraines.

Four years ago Duterte claimed to often use fentanyl to relieve pain in his spine as a result of accidents while riding a motorcycle. Fentanyl is a substance that is often used by drug addicts.

In October 2019, Duterte claimed to have myasthenia gravis. It is a disease that disrupts the body's immunity and causes muscle weakness and makes it difficult to control the eyelids and blurred vision.

Duterte was also absent at a number of ASEAN high-level meetings in November 2019 due to exhaustion. He also cut his trip to Japan to attend the coronation ceremony of Emperor Naruhito.

Even so, Duterte often denied that his deteriorating health condition was caused by severe illness.

Meanwhile, in the Philippine constitution, the president must hand over power to his representatives if he is unable to carry out his duties due to health conditions, withdrawal, or death.

After meeting with the President, the Indonesian Foreign Minister and the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment, Motegi's turn to visit the ASEAN office to discuss cooperation between the two parties. During his visit, he introduced three new policy directions between Japan and ASEAN. "I want to introduce the three directions of the Japanese Government's policy regarding the form of Japan-ASEAN cooperation to realize the vision of the future of ASEAN," Motegi said when opening his speech at the ASEAN Secretariat office on Friday 10 January 2020. Then, he began to describe the three new policy directions he had intended. Human Empowerment The first point that becomes the new policy direction for Japan and ASEAN cooperation is about human empowerment. The thing that sustains a prosperous society is the ability and enthusiasm that everyone has. "The Japanese project that is best known in Indonesia among various HR empowerment projects is the project of community policing or community policing," said Foreign Minister Motegi. In Indonesia, Japan has been running various collaborations for around 20 years to build community policing that is capable of handling general crime independently and separately from the TNI. Japan expects further developments from the ongoing community policing program. Japan hopes that these activities can be disseminated throughout Indonesia. Until finally, the cooperative relationship between Japan and Indonesia could enter a new stage, namely joint human empowerment. In an effort to develop human resources, Foreign Minister Motegi hopes that there will be high-quality human resource development that can face the digital economy and the coming of the industrial revolution 4.0. Institutional Improvement After the development of human resources, the second point that became the new policy direction for cooperation between Japan and ASEAN was institutional reform. Japan considers that there should be a social system that allows human resources that have been developed to demonstrate the ability possessed properly. So, this step is the next step from before. "In this case, the most important is the formulation of rules regarding economic activities," explained Foreign Minister Motegi. Motegi also conveyed to the invited guests present that Indonesia is one of the models of democratic country development because of his experience in changing government through holding direct and free elections. Japan has committed to always side by side with ASEAN in establishing a diverse and dynamic country and society in the region. Wisdom Collection The last point is wisdom gathering. Motegi spoke that Japan and ASEAN could collaborate in gathering each other's wisdom and deepening it for the same purpose. In this regard, the most significant challenge so far faced by ASEAN and Japan by sharing knowledge and experience is disaster management. "ASEAN and Japan have the same serious threat of natural disasters that have strengthened the ASEAN Coordinating Center for Humanitarian Assistance on Disaster Management or AHA Center. At present, the AHA Center has become an essential institution needed for efforts to deal with natural disasters in the ASEAN region.

Russia Accused of Trailing US Spy Satellite - The United States has  accused two  Russian satellites of trailing their  spy satellites . The US considers that very disturbing and asks Moscow to respond immediately.

In an interview with Time magazine published Monday, US Space Forces Chief General John Raymond said Russian aircraft maneuvered toward the American satellite after being launched into orbit in November at a distance of 160 kilometers.

"We consider this behavior unusual and disturbing," Raymond was quoted as saying by AFP on Wednesday (12/2).

According to him, the maneuver has the potential to create dangerous situations in space.

Earlier Raymond told US media that the satellite was similar to the inspector satellite launched by Russia in 2017. Russian

Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov claimed to have received a message from Washington about the satellite. He said, Moscow would study it first before responding.

"Regarding the maneuvering of these objects in space, this is a practice carried out by many countries," said Ryabkov.

The US Space Force was formed in December, becoming the sixth military force, after the army, air force, navy, marines and coast guard.

The US Space Forces is President Donald Trump's ambition which was criticized by many parties.

"There will be many things happening in space, because space is the newest war domain in the world," President Donald Trump said at the time.

Piracy of satellites and destructive weapons controlled from space is a concern about war in space.
